b'C MC has supported Habitat for Humanity for more than 10 years. What began with a handful of volunteers from a single CMC location has grown into a relationship comprising company-wide support and the efforts of volunteers at CMC facilities across the country. In 2014, employees from CMC Steel Texas, our minimill in Seguin, Texas, signed up to help the Guadalupe Valley Habitat for Humanity chapter in its 18th home build. In fact, CMCs contributions and the number of CMC employees who volunteered to work on the project were so high that the Habitat for Humanity partners began to refer to the endeavor as the CMC House. Each month, over a span of six months, employees from a different department of CMC Steel Texas devoted their Saturdays to help build the house. On many Saturdays, more than 40 CMC employee volunteers joined the effort. The home dedication ceremony for the CMC House was held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 313 Mesquite Street in Seguin, Texas, about five miles from our minimill. The ceremony included the presentation of the key to the proud new homeowner and her five children. BUILDING COMMUNITY26'
